A man raised as an elf at the North Pole is sent to the U.S. in search of his true identity...



A Broadway musical based upon the strory of Buddy, will be booked for
Broadway's Holiday season with previews beginning on November 2, 2010.

The musical will officially open at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in November 10, 2010, planned to close on January 2, 2011.

Its score will be written by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin, who
previously collaborated on a musical version of Adam Sandler comedy The
Wedding Singer.

It will also be directed by Casey Nicholaw and written with music by
Chad Beguelin, lyrics by Matthew Sklar, and book by Bob Martin and
Thomas Meehan.

Cast members for the nine-week run have yet to be announced.

The film was released in the United States on November 7, 2003. It was
well-received by critics, holding an 83% "Certified Fresh" rating
on Rotten Tomatoes!!
